Allegany College of Maryland Volleyball Team Announces 2024 Roster and Schedule
Cumberland, MD – September 2, 2024 – Allegany College of Maryland is excited to announce the roster for the 2024 Volleyball team. Under the leadership of Head Coach Joe Brewer, entering his third season, and Assistant Coach Lindsay Fisher, the team is poised for a competitive season. This year's roster features a mix of returning players and new talent, ready to make their mark on the court.

2023 Season Record: The Allegany College of Maryland Volleyball team had an impressive season last year, finishing with an overall record of 12-8. Emmy Wilson and Sadie Bayko return to lead as they both were decorated with many postseason conference and regional awards. The Lady Trojans were defeated in the opening round of the NJCAA Region 20 tournament versus #1 seed Harford after winning in the play in round against Anne Arundel. Emmy Wilson earned Maryland Juco, Region 20, Region 20 Tournament, and NJCAA Academic, and Allegany College of Maryland Academic awards in 2023. Sadie Bayko earned Maryland Juco, Region 20, and NJCAA Academic, Region 20 Academic and Maryland Juco Academic honors as well as Allegany College of Maryland Academic awards in 2023. Coach Brewer also has 2 additional returning sophomores in Ariaya Walker and Jaci Rowe.
Incoming Freshmen: Coach Brewer and assistant Coach Fisher round out their team with many local student athletes. Zoey Bottenfield from Bedford, Autumn Hoppert from Bishop Walsh, Allison Leatherman from Allegany High, Avery Tipton from Mountain Ridge High School and Nailevid Lorenzo-Lopez from Arch Bishop Carroll in Washington, D.C.
