Joe Brewer has coached with the Allegany College of Maryland Trojan Volleyball program since 2022. He brings over 20 years of coaching experience in both volleyball and tennis. At Fort Hill High School, Brewer transformed the Sentinels into a perennial regional powerhouse, culminating in a state championship during the 2013 season. Over his tenure at Fort Hill, he compiled an impressive 175–42 record, earning multiple conference and area championships along with several Coach of the Year honors.
As a passionate teacher of the game, Coach Brewer has led numerous volleyball clinics and camps. He has completed coaching certification courses through Gold Medal Squared and USA Volleyball. Many of his high school athletes have gone on to compete at the collegiate level.
Before his volleyball coaching career, Brewer competed nationally in bowling and played collegiate tennis at Frostburg State University. He is a certified teaching professional through the Professional Tennis Registry and has coached athletes across all levels. Academically, Brewer taught Spanish for 17 years before transitioning into school administration.
