Emmy Wilson, a sophomore at Allegany College of Maryland (ACM), is a dedicated and talented volleyball player hailing from Ellerslie, Maryland. Born on August 30th in Cumberland, Maryland, Emmy stands at an impressive 5’11". She is currently pursuing a major in Physical Therapy Assistant with a certificate in Social Media Marketing. Emmy’s athletic journey began at Calvary Christian Academy in Cresaptown, Maryland, where she was home-schooled. Her passion for volleyball has been a driving force throughout her academic and athletic career, and she continues to excel on the court as a key player for ACM’s volleyball team.

Emmy comes from a supportive family with a strong athletic background. Her mother, Heather Wilson, ran track and field in college at Western Maryland College, which has undoubtedly inspired Emmy’s own athletic pursuits. Emmy is the youngest of three siblings, with her brother Jacob, 24, and sister Kaitlyn, 21, both paving the way for her. Her father, Craig Wilson, works as an engineer, while her mother is an occupational therapist. With her expected graduation in May 2024, Emmy is not only focused on her studies and volleyball but also on making a significant impact in her future career as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

In 2023-2024, Emmy earned MD JUCO First Team, NJCAA Region 20 Second Team, Region 20 All Tournament Team, and Spring 2024 Honor's List.
