ACM Lady Trojans softball squad helped raise donations Saturday after joining the community and many participants in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The event serves as Cumberland's charity walk to raise money for breast cancer research. 20 total teams participated.
 
Asst. Coach Kayla Dodson stated, "I really think today was successful. Our kids really enjoyed themselves, raised money, and walked for a great cause. Breast cancer effects everyone in some way whether it be a family member or friend and the fact that we got to bring awareness to a cancer, that unfortunately effects so many women, is something that I'm proud of. These kids too; I'm so proud of them; proud to be their coach."
