Kennell Powers Trojans in Split with Westmoreland

Cumberland, Md.Allegany College of Maryland split a high-energy doubleheader with Westmoreland Wolfpack 2026 on Saturday, erupting for a 13–9 win in Game 1 before dropping a pitcher's duel in the finale.

Game 1: Allegany College of Maryland 13, Westmoreland Wolfpack 9

Alex Kennell delivered a monster performance at the plate, crushing two home runs and driving in seven runs as Allegany defeated Westmoreland 13–9 in a back-and-forth offensive showcase.
Kennell homered in both the fifth and seventh innings, including a three-run blast that broke the game open late. The Trojans totaled 11 hits and eight walks, displaying patience and timely power throughout.
Duke Psoras and Kennell combined for six hits batting back-to-back in the lineup, while Psoras added an RBI double. Ryan Hines, Ben Abram, and Isaac Abalo each worked two walks as part of a deep offensive effort.
On the mound, Peyton Brzozowy earned the win with one and two-thirds innings of scoreless relief. ACM's defense was flawless, committing no errors and turning a double play.

Game 2: Westmoreland Wolfpack 2, Allegany College of Maryland 0

Despite a dominant pitching performance from Cayden Robinson, Allegany fell 2–0 in the second game of the doubleheader.
Robinson struck out 12 batters over five and two-thirds innings, allowing just four hits and two runs. However, Westmoreland's starter was equally effective, throwing a complete-game shutout while surrendering only three hits.
Theo Kanegae, Arturo Garcia-Tunon, and Christos Tassopoulos each recorded hits for the Trojans, who also played error-free defense. Kanegae led all players with 12 total chances in the field.
