Cumberland, Md. — Duke Psoras belted two home runs and drove in four runs, but Allegany College of Maryland fell to Potomac State 24–10 on Tuesday in a high-scoring contest.
Psoras homer?ed in the first inning to pull ACM within one and added a two-run shot in the seventh as part of a 12-hit day for the Trojans. Alex Kennell also went deep in the opening frame, giving ACM early momentum.
Potomac State, however, pulled away with multi-run innings throughout the game, including a five-run fifth and a seven-run sixth highlighted by a grand slam.
Alex Kennell and Isaac Abalo each recorded multiple hits, while Christos Tassopoulos drew three walks as allegany totaled nine free passes. The Trojans also turned a double play defensively.
Potomac State finished with 16 hits and 14 walks, capitalizing on sustained offensive pressure to secure the win.
