ACM WBB to Host Open House and Skills Workout
CUMBERLAND, Md.(May 28, 2024) – Make plans to tour Allegany College of Maryland during its Summer Open House and Student Housing Preview on July 15. Advanced registration is required for both events and available at www.allegany.edu/openhouse. Prospective students are welcome to attend one or both events. All students and prospective athletes are welcome to register for the open house and tours.
Summer Open House
Sign in starts at 9:00 am at the Welcome Center. Attendees will have the chance to meet with faculty members and student support service staff; and tour the campus and Willowbrook Woods, the college's student housing complex. All prospective students will receive an ACM Future Student gift bag and can have a chance to win an Allegany College of Maryland tuition voucher. Lunch is provided for registered attendees. Student Housing Preview
In-depth tours of Willowbrook Woods begin at 1 p.m. Residence Life staff will be available to answer questions and meet one-on-one with attendees. Registration for a specific tour time is required. Register for 1:00 slot here.

WBB Skills Workout
Specifically for athletes invited and inquiring for the WBB Skills workout, following a campus tour and provided lunch, Women's Basketball Coach Larae Allen and Assistant Courtney Crislip will host class of 2025 and 2026 athletes registered for the free event in Bob Kirk Arena. Athletes are asked to bring a copy of a current physical and can obtain paperwork from Coach Crislip. Slots are limited to 20 to best coordinate and evaluate each athlete. Workouts start at 2:00 PM, please register for tours accordingly.
