C'Niyah Turner Earns Athlete of the Month for NJCAA Region 20 Month of February 2024
CUMBERLAND, Md. – Freshman Center,
C'Niyah Turner has been voted to earn February 2024 Athlete of the Month.
Taking home February honors and representing ACM, Njcaa Region 20 and Region 20 Division 1 Women's Basketball, C'Niyah is a starting freshman center.
The Region 20 committee remarked "Turner was outstanding off the glass in February, recording more than a third of her season total's rebounds in just this month. She averaged a double-double with 12.2 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. She scored in double figures in three of five games, highlighted by a 20-point, 16-rebound double-double against Anne Arundel. Turner had two other double-doubles in the month, one against Chesapeake and one against Garrett."
