Catherine Nicole Cessna, Cathy, born on June 3, 2005, in Cumberland, Maryland, is a standout sophomore athlete at Allegany College of Maryland (ACM). Standing tall at 5’10" and weighing 160 pounds, Catherine is a key player on the women’s soccer team. She graduated from Bishop Walsh School in Cumberland, Maryland, in 2023 and is currently pursuing a major in Respiratory Therapy, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Catherine hails from Beans Cove, Pennsylvania, and is the youngest in her family, with two older brothers, Clayton and Lucas. Her parents, Leroy and Jeanna Cessna, have been instrumental in her athletic journey, with Jeanna having played women’s basketball at ACM.

Catherine’s dedication to soccer is evident in her performance on the field, where she is known for her skill and determination. Coming from a family with a history of athletic involvement at ACM, she continues to build on that legacy. Her journey is closely followed by her community, and she is poised to make a significant impact in her college athletic career. Catherine’s commitment to both her sport and her studies in Respiratory Therapy showcases her well-rounded character and ambition. Cathy also played softball her freshman year under Coach Rick Twigg.
