Allegany College of Maryland

Louis Couch, a freshman at Allegany College of Maryland, is a promising member of the Men’s Basketball team. Born in Arlington, Virginia, and hailing from Centreville, Virginia, Louis stands tall at 6’6" and is pursuing a major in Business Management, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. He graduated from Southern Maryland Christian Academy in 2024, after attending Centreville High School and North Carolina Good Better Best Academy. His athletic journey has been covered by numerous media outlets, including BigShots, Capitol Hoops, and Phenom Hoops.

Louis comes from a family with a strong athletic background. His father, Aaron Couch, played Division I basketball at the University of Connecticut and North Carolina Central University, while his uncle, Therman Couch, played college football at Iowa State and professionally in the NFL. Louis’s parents, Deidra Couch (Sr. Associate Director, Field Based Medicine) and Aaron Couch (Creative Director for Media Development), along with his younger sister, Jillian (16), have been a significant support system throughout his journey.
