Allegany College of Maryland

Caiden Chorpenning, a sophomore at Allegany College of Maryland, is a dedicated member of the Men’s Basketball team. Born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland, Caiden is pursuing a major in General Studies and is expected to graduate in December 2025. Standing at 6’3", he brings a strong presence to the court. Caiden graduated from Allegany High School in 2023, where he was actively involved in basketball, and his athletic journey has been covered by the Cumberland Times News.

Caiden comes from a supportive family, with his father, Jason Chorpenning, serving as the President of a labor union, and his mother, Amy Chorpenning. He is the youngest of three siblings, with an older brother, Cameron (25), and an older sister, Ashlyn (21). Although no other family members have played sports at Allegany College, Caiden’s passion and dedication to basketball have been evident throughout his high school and college career.
