Allegany College of Maryland

James Evans is a redshirt sophomore baseball player at Allegany College of Maryland. Born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, James stands 5'11" and weighs 190 pounds. He graduated from West Boca Raton High School in 2022 and is currently majoring in Business, with an expected graduation date of April/May 2025. James transferred from Chesapeake College, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to his sport. His dedication to baseball and his academic pursuits make him a standout player for the Trojans.

James's family has been a significant source of support throughout his athletic journey. His parents, Jae and Ericka Evans, work as an elevator company owner and an insurance agent, respectively. Their encouragement has been instrumental in James's development both on and off the field. Despite not having any family members who played sports at Allegany College, James's hard work and determination continue to drive his success. His passion for baseball and his drive to excel academically make him a valuable asset to the Allegany College of Maryland community.
