Cumberland, MD — Allegany College of Maryland earned an impressive 6–2 home victory over the #14-ranked Frederick Cougars on Thursday afternoon at Steve Bazarnic Field, combining strong pitching, timely hitting, and flawless defense.

ACM starter C. Robinson delivered a steady outing on the mound, allowing three hits and one run over five innings. The right-hander struck out seven and walked three, setting the tone early and limiting Frederick's opportunities.

The Cougars countered with Colin Milligan, who also went five innings. Milligan surrendered three runs on one hit, with no earned runs, while striking out seven and walking two.

Hiroto Kimura appeared in relief for the Trojans and helped close the door, pitching 3.2 innings while allowing six hits and one run and striking out four. Frederick finished the game with nine hits, but ACM's pitching staff limited the damage when it mattered most.

Offensively, the Trojans were led by Ryan Hines and Christos Tassopoulos, who each drove in two runs. Dylan Frazier, Hines, Ben Abram, Isaac Abalo, and Tassopoulos all recorded a hit, with Tassopoulos delivering a double. Hines and J. Rodriguez were each hit by a pitch as ACM applied pressure throughout the lineup.

Defensively, Allegany College of Maryland was perfect in the field, committing no errors and turning one double play. Theo Kanegae anchored the defense with a team-high 12 chances, contributing to a clean, efficient effort behind the pitching staff.

With the 6–2 win, the Trojans defended home turf against a nationally ranked opponent, showcasing depth on the mound and discipline on both sides of the ball. The Trojans are 7-4 and have a DH at Potomac State on Sunday.
