ACM's Nakiya Copes and Kayla Hill each collected three hits, contributing to the team's total of 11 hits compared to the Lions' seven. The game saw multiple lead changes, with the Trojans initially taking the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Makenna Richards and Hill drove in runs. However, Penn State DuBois regained control in the second inning with key hits from Paige Miller and Jessy Frank.
The Trojans managed to take the lead again in the bottom of the third inning, thanks to an error that allowed two runs to score. This gave ACM a 5-4 advantage. Unfortunately, the Lions captured the lead once more in the top of the sixth inning, scoring three runs due to an error and a double by Leah Aldous. Despite Hill's efforts on the mound, the Trojans couldn't hold off Penn State DuBois's offense.
In the second game, ACM struggled to keep up with Penn State DuBois, resulting in a 14-6 loss. The Trojans started strong with hits from Nakiya Copes and Ryanne Martinez, but the Lions quickly tied the game in the third inning. The fourth inning proved decisive as Penn State DuBois's Jessy Frank and Chelsea Busatto each hit home runs, contributing to a six-run inning that put ACM behind.
