Ryan Whitehead Named to NJCAA Region 20 All-Tournament Team

Allegany College of Maryland freshman Ryan Whitehead capped off an impressive debut season by earning a spot on the NJCAA Region 20 Division II Volleyball All-Tournament Team. Despite ACM falling in the quarterfinals to top-seeded Montgomery College, Whitehead's performance throughout the season and in the tournament earned her recognition among the region's best.

Whitehead was a consistent contributor for the Trojans, finishing the season with 220 kills, 226 digs, and 33 service aces across 20 matches. Her ability to deliver offensively while anchoring the defense made her one of ACM's most reliable players. Highlights included a 23-kill performance against Carroll Community College and double-digit digs in multiple matches.

Congratulations to Ryan on this outstanding achievement—and to Athletic Director Tarlouh Gasque, Coach Patti Westenberg, and the Montgomery College Raptors on winning the 2025 Region 20 Volleyball Tournament. Montgomery will host Monroe University in the District Championship on Saturday, November 8.
