Three Allegany College of Maryland volleyball players earned NJCAA Region 20 postseason honors for their outstanding performances this season. Sophomore setter/opposite Nailevid Lorenzo Lopez, a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C., was named to the Second Team. Lorenzo Lopez played a pivotal role in running the Trojans' offense, finishing the season with 124 assists, 72 kills, and 18 service aces across 34 sets. Her ability to set up hitters and contribute offensively made her one of the most versatile players in the region.
Freshman outside hitter Ryan Whitehead, from Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg, Maryland, earned Honorable Mention recognition. Whitehead was a consistent two-way contributor, tallying 188 kills and 225 digs over 64 sets. She also added 38 service aces, showcasing her all-around skill set and reliability in both the front and back row. Her energy and defensive hustle were key factors in ACM's success throughout the season.
Joining Whitehead on the Honorable Mention list was freshman middle hitter Addison Miller, a standout from Greencastle-Antrim High School in Pennsylvania. Miller finished the year with 163 kills and 26 service aces, while hitting .200 on the season. Her presence at the net provided the Trojans with a strong blocking and attacking option, helping the team maintain offensive balance. Together, these three athletes exemplified ACM's competitive spirit and were instrumental in the Trojans' 13-7 overall record and strong showing in Region 20 play.
