Coach Shane Scott is the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach headed into his 6th season as well as working at the colleges student housing Willow Brook Woods.
He attended Osborne Senior High School in Manassas, Va before moving on to ACM’s Rival Garrett Community College. He was inducted in to Garrett’s Hall of Fame in 2017. His athletic experience includes playing varsity high school collegiate level basketball and also playing professionally.
His success continued as a coach, and founder of Why Settle Be Great Basketball Training Academy and AAU program. He was also Head Basketball Coach at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Cumberland MD. Shane trains local children of all ages and has assisted in the acceptance of several of his college student athletes moving on to University level basketball.
Coach Scott currently resides in Cumberland ,Maryland with his wife Kristi and their children.
