Allegany College of Maryland's cross country team delivered a solid performance at the Bridgewater College Invitational on Saturday, with standout efforts in both the men's and women's races.
In the Men's 8k Run, Jace Patton represented ACM with determination, finishing the course in 00:39:51.43 and earning 250 points for the team. Patton, just 19 years old, continues to build experience and endurance in his debut collegiate season.
The Women's 6k Run, which followed at 10:50 a.m., saw two strong finishes from ACM runners. Emily Smith, a returning athlete and Automotive Technology student, led the team with a time of 00:30:56.01, scoring 236 points. Freshman Summer Kreydatus, studying Multimedia Technology, followed closely with a time of 00:33:08.65, contributing 226 points.
The Bridgewater Invitational offered a competitive field and a scenic course, giving ACM runners valuable experience as they prepare for upcoming meets, including Pitt Greensburg Fall Classic
