Allegany College of Maryland Volleyball Team Announces 2025 Roster and Schedule
Cumberland, MD – August 23, 2025 – Allegany College of Maryland is excited to announce the roster for the 2025 Volleyball team. Under the leadership of Head Coach Joseph Brewer, entering his fourth season, and Assistant Coach Lindsay Fisher, the team is ready to build on last year's success and compete at a high level. This year's roster features a strong recruiting class and two returning players, prepared to make an immediate impact on the court.

2024 Season Record: The Allegany College of Maryland Volleyball team finished the 2024 season with an impressive 14-5 overall record, competing closely with top teams in the region. "Last season, we competed with all of the top teams in the conference," said Coach Brewer. "Three of our four regular season losses went five games. We have seen a consistent improvement from year one when I took over a program that hadn't won a game in a few seasons." Emmy Wilson and Sadie Bayko led the team in offense and earned multiple postseason honors, including Region XX All-Tournament and All-Conference selections. "Both players had many dominating matches and will be missed this coming year," Brewer added.
Incoming Freshmen: Coach Brewer and Assistant Coach Fisher have built a roster featuring six local student-athletes, including Ryan Whitehead (Mountain Ridge), Jaiden Fradiska (Fort Hill), Makenna Conway (Mountain Ridge), Arabella DeValk (Calvary Christian), Mylee Duckworth (Allegany), and Autumn Hoppert (Bishop Walsh). "We have a solid, athletic recruiting class who have both ball control and the ability to terminate and make kills," said Brewer. "This will be a completely different team that will be relying on freshmen to contribute from day one. I am excited to see how they do at the next level and look forward to seeing their growth as college athletes."
