Allegany College of Maryland

Roman Charles Smith, known as Roman Smith, is a redshirt sophomore baseball player at Allegany College of Maryland. Born and raised in Richmond Hill, Georgia, Roman stands 6'2" and weighs 225 pounds. He graduated from Savannah Country Day School in 2022 and is currently majoring in General Studies, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Roman transferred from Florida State College at Jacksonville and Middle Georgia State, where he also played baseball, bringing valuable experience and skills to the Trojans.

Roman's family has been a significant source of support throughout his athletic journey. His parents, Jennifer Noel-Smith and Charles Smith, work as a teacher and are retired, respectively. Roman is the youngest of three siblings, with an older brother, Max, and an older sister, Gally. Despite not having any family members who played sports at Allegany College, Roman's dedication and hard work continue to drive his success. His commitment to baseball and his academic pursuits make him a valuable asset to the Allegany College of Maryland community.
