Allegany College of Maryland

Daniel Joseph Defonte, known as Daniel Defonte, is a freshman baseball player at Allegany College of Maryland. Born and raised in Long Beach, New York, Daniel stands 5'10" and weighs 160 pounds. He graduated from Long Beach High School in 2024 and is currently majoring in Business Management, with an expected graduation date of June 2026. Daniel's athletic journey has been influenced by his father's experience playing football at Brooklyn College, and he is eager to make his own mark in baseball.

Daniel's family has been a strong support system throughout his athletic career. His parents, Daniel R. Defonte and Kelly Defonte, have always encouraged him to excel both on and off the field. Daniel has an older sister, Isabella, who is 22 years old. Despite not having any other family members who played sports at Allegany College, Daniel's dedication and hard work continue to drive his success. His commitment to baseball and his academic pursuits make him a valuable asset to the Allegany College of Maryland community.
