CUMBERLAND, MD — Allegany College of Maryland baseball turned in a commanding performance on Sunday at home, sweeping Chesapeake College by scores of 10–4 and 12–2 behind disciplined offense, timely power, and strong pitching across the doubleheader.

Game 1: ACM 10, Chesapeake 4

The Trojans set the tone early in the opener, scoring twice in the bottom of the first inning as Theo Kanegae worked a walk and Ben Abram drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.

Chesapeake briefly evened the score in the top of the second, but ACM responded in the third when Ryan Hines and Vladimir Breton each drew bases-loaded walks to push the Trojans back in front, 4–2.

ACM broke the game open in the fourth with a five-run inning fueled by situational hitting and aggressiveness on the bases. Abram plated another run on a sacrifice bunt before Manny Cartagena delivered an RBI single. Frank Diaz delivered the biggest swing of the inning with a two-run triple, and Jesus Rodriguez capped the scoring with a sacrifice fly.

On the mound, Keegan Roach earned the win, allowing two hits and three runs over four innings while striking out four. Kenny Manresa provided relief work as ACM closed out the victory.

Diaz finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs, while Kanegae reached base three times via walk. The Trojans showed patience throughout the game, drawing 11 walks, and added pressure with five stolen bases, including two from Duke Psoras. Defensively, ACM turned a double play to limit Chesapeake's opportunities.

Game 2: ACM 12, Chesapeake 2

The nightcap featured an offensive outburst that included six home runs as ACM pulled away early and never looked back.

After Chesapeake scored twice in the top of the second, the Trojans answered immediately with a pair of long balls. Jesus Rodriguez and Isaac Abalo both homered in the bottom half of the inning to swing momentum in ACM's favor.

The Trojans extended the lead in the third as Alex Kennell lined a two-run single before Rodriguez added his second RBI of the game with a sacrifice fly. ACM continued to build separation in the fourth with solo home runs by Ben Abram and Kennell, then added two more in the sixth when Frank Diaz and Jaden Wilson both went deep.

Christopher Fagot delivered a strong start on the mound, tossing six innings while allowing two runs (one earned), striking out seven to earn the win.

Offensively, ACM totaled 15 hits in the game. Kennell drove in three runs, while Diaz and Wilson each recorded three-hit performances. Abalo and Hines also contributed multiple hits as the Trojans consistently applied pressure throughout the lineup.
