Box Score 2 KEYSER, W.Va. — Potomac State College used big offensive innings in both games to secure a doubleheader sweep over the Allegany College of Maryland Lady Trojans on Tuesday, winning game one 11–2 and game two 13–1.
Game One
Potomac State set the tone early in the opener, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the first inning to take control of the contest. The Catamounts capitalized on walks, defensive pressure, and aggressive baserunning to build a sizable early lead.
Potomac State added insurance runs later in the game, including an RBI single in the third inning to extend the advantage.
Autumn Medina was a bright spot for ACM offensively, going 2-for-2 from the No. 7 spot in the lineup to lead the Lady Trojans. Kayla Hill started in the circle for ACM and worked three and two-thirds innings, striking out five batters.
Potomac State relied on multiple pitchers in the opener, limiting ACM to two hits while playing error-free defense and stealing nine bases.
Game Two
The nightcap followed a similar script, with Potomac State breaking the game open in the second inning. After scoring once in the first, the Catamounts erupted for eight runs on seven hits in the bottom of the second to take a commanding lead.
Potomac State continued to apply pressure in the third inning with an RBI double to extend the margin.
Natalie Melby led ACM at the plate in game two, finishing 2-for-3 from the leadoff position. Breean Gay drove in the Lady Trojans' lone run and also started in the circle, working two innings.
Potomac State finished the second game with 13 hits and eight stolen bases, while #10 drove in three runs from the bottom of the lineup.

The Lady Trojans conclude the road doubleheader and will look to regroup as they prepare to face SUNY Corning on Monday.
