Nick Falla Shines as Region 20 Athlete of the Month for April
Cumberland, MD – The Allegany College of Maryland Trojans continue to make waves in the NJCAA Region 20 Division I, with standout performances from their athletes. Among them, Nick Falla, a sophomore right-handed pitcher, has earned the prestigious title of Region 20 Athlete of the Month for April, thanks to his exceptional contributions to the Trojans' baseball team.

Nick Falla has been a dominant force on the mound for the Trojans, showcasing his pitching prowess throughout April. Falla's impressive record includes going 5-0 in seven appearances, boasting a remarkable 1.01 ERA. His ability to strike out batters has been a key asset, with 55 strikeouts and a 0.79 WHIP over 35.2 innings of work.
Falla's consistency and skill were evident as he didn't allow an earned run for his first 23 innings across six appearances in the month. His performance included three complete games and crucial wins against Garrett, solidifying his reputation as a top pitcher in the region. Currently, Falla leads Region 20 and ranks third in NJCAA DII with a stellar 1.24 ERA for the year.
