The Allegany College of Maryland Women's Soccer program celebrated two standout performances at the NJCAA Region 20 Division II Tournament, as Sophomore Ava Sipes and Freshman goalkeeper Genesis Alvarez earned All-Tournament Team honors.

 

Sipes, a returning leader for ACM, delivered an incredible season with 20 goals, 2 assists, and 42 points, highlighted by a dominant 4-goal game against Howard Community College. Her offensive consistency set the tone for the Trojans' attack.

Alvarez, who previously earned NJCAA Region 20 Athlete of the Month, proved to be one of the region's most promising goalkeepers. She logged 1,349 minutes, recorded 124 saves, posted a .837 save percentage, and earned 4 shutouts, including a perfect outing against Garrett College.

The Region 20 Championship game was a thriller, with Anne Arundel Community College defeating College of Southern Maryland 3-2 on a last-second goal to claim their second straight title. ACM's recognition on the All-Tournament Team highlights the program's growth and commitment to excellence.
