CUMBERLAND, Md. – Allegany College of Maryland is proud to celebrate 16 student-athletes who have been named to the 2025-26 NJCAA All-Academic Teams, recognizing their outstanding achievements in the classroom and their commitment to academic excellence.
The NJCAA announced that 13,723 student-athletes nationwide earned All-Academic recognition by achieving a GPA of 3.60 or higher during the academic year. Student-athletes earning a perfect 4.00 GPA were named to the First Team, while those with GPAs between 3.80-3.99 received Second Team honors and those with GPAs between 3.60-3.79 were recognized on the Third Team.

Leading the way for the Trojans were four student-athletes who earned NJCAA All-Academic First Team honors with a perfect 4.00 GPA. Levi Carrington earned recognition as a member of both the men's soccer and baseball programs, while Autumn Hoppert (volleyball) and Allison Scritchfield (women's soccer) also achieved the distinction.

Three Trojans were named to the NJCAA All-Academic Second Team, including Arturo Garcia Tunon (baseball), Summer Kreydatus (cross country), Autumn Medina (softball), and Raley Nestor (softball).

The Trojans also had nine student-athletes recognized on the NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: Ben Abram (baseball), Sierra Campbell (women's soccer), Dylan Frazier (baseball), Diego Gil (baseball), Elijah Hall (men's basketball), Malakai Jones (baseball), Natalie Melby (softball), Esmanyel Esquea (baseball), Ava Sipes (women's soccer), Ivan Sypa (baseball), and Ashante Williams (women's basketball).

"These student-athletes have proven that success extends far beyond competition," said ACM Director of Athletics Tommie Reams. "Their dedication to balancing athletics, academics, and campus life demonstrates the values we strive to instill in every Trojan student-athlete. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments."

The recognition highlights ACM's continued commitment to academic achievement and student success. Whether competing on the field, court, course, or diamond, these Trojans have demonstrated excellence in representing Allegany College of Maryland both athletically and academically.

The NJCAA recognized 13,723 student-athletes nationally for achieving a GPA of 3.60 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year, including 3,799 First Team honorees, 4,593 Second Team honorees, and 5,330 Third Team honorees.
